I was helping Grandma Thetan clear out the remains of Kyyp’s metal structures the other day when we both noticed something strange down in the cove on the north shore of Rodeo. The small stone tower that kami Kim had excavated a few years ago had suddenly reappeared on the small rise at the mouth of the cove.
The tower had unexpectedly vanished some months ago, not too long after Kyyp had begun his experiment with the metal pillars. I was at a loss as to why it had disappeared. My gini wasn’t much help. The updated model that Champie and Grandma Thetan had been working on was still buggy and only operational under the most perfect of circumstances. Storm clouds had gathered in the region and seemed to coincide with the unusual activity. Grandma Thetan had confirmed a strange disturbance in the Grid using her older gini. She began detecting some subtle spatial and temporal distortions—“tuning oddities” she called them.
It seemed no surprise to her when the tower returned a few days ago. She pondered it for a moment and then set out to gather as much data as she could.
The tower doesn’t seem to be entirely stable. We’re continuing to detect very low level tuning discrepancies in the local grid, very similar to the distortions recently discovered at Osprey Therian’s Photography Studio in the Brownstone East. The stone structure will sometimes fade in and out, and go phantom, before becoming solid again in a most unpredictable manner. I’ll keep my eye on it and pass on whatever information Grandma Thetan is able to provide.

Rodeo Tower Suddenly Returns
